A FLORIDA ALBUM-MANATEE COVE

Block 7 of A Florida Album is Manatee Cove. These gentle slow-moving mammals sparsely populate the warm waters of southern Florida where they munch away on aquatic plants. Measuring 10" square, this applique block depicts a mother manatee with her young swimming along with a couple of friends. Manatees are ever popular with tourists & natives as witnessed by the multitudes of manatee mailboxes that stand along Florida's streets. Pattern includes directions for both needle turn & fusible applique techniques that will help you to complete this block depicting one of Florida's favorite residents - the manatee.
